Pasec Port was founded in 1956 and is at present the most prominent independent cargo securing company in the port of Antwerp. Pasec Port has, over the years, joined forces with other well known and experienced securing companies, such as Palpack, The Cargo Securing Company, Vergo, BKSI Port and Vetler, in order to form the present Pasec Port N.V. In 2009 Pasec Port joined the Gosselin Group, a leading Belgian logistics company headquartered near Antwerp, Belgium. With its skills in packing, shipping, warehousing, moves and customs clearance, the Gosselin Group provides a full set of logistics and removal services. It was not until after World War II that it became a necessity to employ specialized coopers and carpenters to fasten cargo in a seaworthy manner. This means that we are, as our history starts in that period, one of the longest established companies in this field. Working for various shipping lines operating general cargo, breakbulk, reefer or ro-ro vessels is not only a guarantee for our skills but also shows our diversity and flexibility. Apart from working on board of all types of vessels and ashore on railroad wagons, containers and trucks, we also prepare skids, platforms, trailers, etc. for safe transport. We have a fully equipped workshop, including a saw-mill which enables us to prepare various kinds of wooden constructions, such as supports, saddles, beams etc. We supply a large range of quality lashing products, which are tested in the factory and/or by ourselves on quality, specifications, composition and on a draw-bench on breaking strength. Our company is recognized by the Belgian Ministry of Agriculture, department FAVV under number 55664, to supply treated wood according to the requirements for ISPM 15. A team of inspectors, chief foremen and foremen lead and control the different operations to the entire satisfaction of our customers. ZEEBRUGGE In the port of Zeebrugge our lashing operations are carried out by Beltraf N.V., with whom we have a close co-operation. Can we be of any service ? Let us know ! |
